Mountain Waters Resort is located on the Great Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland, Canada, 19 miles (29 kms) North of Gros Morne National Park. The resort is 5 KM north of the village of Portland Creek, at Portland Creek Pond, 1 KM of the Viking Trail; and, approximately 150 KM north of Deer Lake.
It can be reached by flying into Deer Lake and traveling the scenic coastal drive on Route 430 North through Gros Morne National Park, with mountains on your right and the ocean on your left, for about 115 miles (184 kms).
Exit TCH Deer Lake To Route 430, Viking Trail. Continue North For 150 KM. Portland Creek River Bridge is located on Route 430. One KM north of the Portland Creek River Bridge on the right is the entrance sign for Mountain Waters Resort. Exit right and drive 1 KM.
